Do you accept my insurance plan?
In this day and age, we know deciphering insurance benefits can be confusing.
We are happy to help you with your insurance concerns.
We feel, however, that your insurance should never dictate the quality
or timing of your treatment. If you have extensive or long-term dental
care, our office offers financial assistance through CareCredit, an
outside financing company with competitive interest rates. If you have
any questions about insurance issues, call us at 972-370-1200.

What different payment options do you provide?
We have several payment options available for your convenience. If you
pay in full with cash or check, we provide a 5 percent
discount. We also accept Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express.
If you need more extensive services, we can arrange outside long term
financing through CareCredit.
In this day and age, we know deciphering your insurance benefits can
be confusing. We are happy to help answer any insurance questions you
may have. We feel, however, that your insurance should never dictate
the quality or timing of your treatment. Dr. B believes that when you
have checkups regularly, you will spend less money over a lifetime of
good dental hygiene.

How can I safely whiten my teeth?
Many of our patients ask about the best method to whiten their teeth.
If you have cracked, chipped or discolored teeth, Dr. B may recommend
restorative services, such as veneers or bonding. If you want to bleach
your teeth, our office uses the Zoom!™ In-Office Whitening System,
which provides us with safe, controllable whitening. Since each mouth
is unique, however, we need to evaluate your teeth to recommend a specific
treatment.

I really do not like visiting the dentist. Is there anything you can
do to help me relax?
Dr. B can tell when people are nervous about being in a dentist’s
office. Nothing seems to help them relax. We offer several amenities,
such as chair massagers and nitrous oxide, to make your visit comfortable.
Nitrous oxide, often referred to as laughing gas, is helpful if you
are excessively nervous about your visit, have a sensitive gag reflex,
or
require surgery or other complex operations. Before we can give you nitrous,
however, we need to discuss your medical history with you. We will ask
whether you or anyone in your family has had difficulty with anesthetics.
We also want to know if you are pregnant, taking steroids, or are on
medication for high blood pressure.

I brush everyday, but my breath just is not fresh. Is there anything
I can do?
We sell a number of products, including Breath Rx, to help you improve
your breath odor. If you have questions about other ways to have fresher
breath, ask Dr. B during your appointment or call us at 972-370-1200.

Do I have to floss every day? Is it really that important?
Yes. Brushing cleans about 80 percent of your teeth while flossing
covers the remaining 20 percent. Although that seems like a small percentage,
this 20 percent area is where all of the big problems originate. That
is why Dr. B believes cleaning this area is very important. When you
come to our office, we can discuss techniques to make the most of your
flossing.

I want my front teeth to look better, but I do not want to wear braces.
What would you recommend?
There are a variety of cosmetic services Dr. B can recommend to improve
the appearance of your teeth without braces. She may recommend Invisalign®,
an easy and aesthetic option for straightening teeth that is quicker
and easier than traditional braces. Another option may be porcelain veneers
to change the appearance of your teeth. If you want your front teeth
to look better without braces, call our office to schedule an appointment.
After listening to your goals and concerns, Dr. B can suggest the best
method to help you straighten your smile.
